i would have likedie more if they performed that with acoustic guitars and bongos ala Guster or Colors (the Mormon cancer) is there an MTV Unplugged version?........i kid.
That was quite amazing, the drummer bowled me over; though I doubt I would have enjoyed it as much without the personal recommendation. i eagerly await the mix.
I went back and downloaded "In the Meantime" album. Wikipedia calls Helmet the "thinking man's rock group". I don't agree, because I cant understand the words in any songs. But the guitar, deep and meaty, plugs right into my soul.

g-man, you are one of the coolest people I have never met.
Paige and the boys hold a special place in my heart. This was fun to watch.

Likewise. I wish I would have said it first. I love Helmet and Youtube.

Love the Colors comment. The soundtrack to EFY.
Unplugged...ummmm...well...I suppose.
There is just too much unplugged stuff in this world.

Jake,
I think that it is the grinding rythm that speaks to my soul. To be truthful, my tastes and most of Helmet's material, don't cross paths very often.
But this song is powerful enough to stand alone.
